Graphical card ATI XFX HD 5870

With the presentation of series HD 5000, ATI has been covering each step based on the yield and characteristics. Realised tests:

We have run different tests, as much synthetic as games, to have a general vision of the yield of the graphical card. All the tests have been realised twice, the first time with the speeds of memory and nucleus of factory, and second, with overclock realised from the control center Catalyst, arriving at 1280 MHz the memories and 880 MHz the nucleus.

XFX HD 5870 has behaved of an excellent way in all the aspects; we must emphasize that our equipment and drivers will be crucial to remove the maximum yield, reason why hoped that with future versions it is increased; even so, it surpasses fully in the majority of test to the greater range of HD 4000. One will notice mainly if we played hi-res, that is where the card moves like fish in the water. The power consumption also has been improved, lowering with respect to previous models; besides this, the processing of video as much in reproduction, as reescalado or recompression will be the responsibility of the GPU, thus releasing to the CPU of this work. The dissipator fulfills its function although with so so large the ventilator it can is let notice enough with a graphical high load, being always improvable in this aspect.
